Description
The ENGWE E26 is an all-terrain electric bike built for riders who want one bike that handles the commute during the week and the trails at the weekend. A 250W rear hub motor with 70Nm of boost torque gives confident hill-climbing, while 26" × 4.0" fat tyres and dual suspension keep the ride settled over broken tarmac, gravel and towpaths alike.
The 48V 16Ah removable lithium-ion battery supports up to 140km of pedal-assisted range and recharges in around 5.5–6 hours, and it detaches so you can charge indoors rather than beside the bike. Braking is handled by 180mm hydraulic discs front and rear, with a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain and a backlit LCD display. Choose between a high-step or step-through frame, in three colourways.
- UK road-legal — 250W motor, assistance limited to 25km/h, ridden as a normal pedal cycle with no licence, tax or insurance required
- Long range — up to 140km in pedal-assist mode from the removable 48V 16Ah battery
- All-terrain capability — 26" × 4.0" fat tyres with dual suspension for grip and comfort off the beaten track
- Hydraulic stopping power — 180mm hydraulic disc brakes front and rear
- Two frame styles — high-step or step-through, both rated to a 150kg maximum load

UK Road Legality
This model has a 250W motor with assistance limited to 25km/h (15.5mph), meeting the UK requirements for an Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC). It can be ridden on public roads and cycle paths as a normal pedal cycle — no licence, tax, insurance or registration is required. Riders must be 14 or over.
- The bike must be ridden in its original, unmodified form. Removing the speed limiter or fitting a more powerful motor takes it outside EAPC rules.
- Any e-bike modified to exceed 250W or 25km/h is legally classed as a motor vehicle, and would then require type approval, registration, tax, insurance and a valid driving licence. It could no longer be used on cycle paths.
- Infinity Electric Bikes will not be held liable for any consequences resulting from modification of the bike or from use that does not comply with local regulations. We encourage all customers to familiarise themselves with and adhere to the specific regulations applicable to their region.
